Well, I decided to enter this contest despite the fact that I will not be attending AX this year. I really wanted to expose the atmosphere of a convention, especially Artist Alley since Deviantart is about art. Many of the artist in artist alley have Deviantart accounts. I also wanted to tell a bit of a story with my picture, instead of just a figure picture. I used perspective in this picture because art is about backgrounds as well as figures. I think it has some story. An artist is drawing. A photographer is taking the picture of a cosplayer. Someone is buying a homemade plushie. Cosplayers are walking buy and some artist are talking. I put a little bit of cameos in this. Eurobeat, a friend of mine and a photographer known at cons is present and :icondynamitebrekdown: is the Gogeta cosplayer. The Ouran Host Club twins are kinda a joke on my sister and me because we said that we would dress as them if we ever went to an Artist Alley. The C.C. cosplayer is another cosplayer I know. : ) This is all done in a traditional method. I used copic markers. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
